9 week old baby - is this a sign of allergy?

My baby is 9 weeks old and breastfed exclusively

Poos have always been normal yellow ones but for the last week they have been green and mucusy

She’s never been sick before but she projectile vomited up this mornings feed

I haven’t changed my diet. I don’t often eat cheese or milk but have natural yoghurt occasionally

I’m not an expert but by the sound of her symptoms I probably wouldn’t say that it’s allergy related

Hi OP - green and mucousy could be a sign of cows milk protein intolerance. The only way to know for sure is to remove all dairy from your diet (if you continue to exclusively breastfeed) and see if the symptoms improve from there. This was just my experience, so would also recommend asking GP, but what you described is exactly how my DS started out. And they were very very smelly 🤢🤢

Does anyone mind if I talk more about the poo?

If so read on...

Baby is now pooing less often (it was every time she fed before)
They are now less nutty and just smooth in texture
Not really any smell
But still a bit green in colour

Thinking we are on the right track

I do not like the oatly alternatives to milk and yoghurt I’ve had.
The yorica I’ve cream was good though but I ate the whole tub in two sittings.

I’m fine with black tea and coffee so no problem there but I’m missing my yoghurt and granola for breakfast so need to find a suitable yoghurt alternative

Have you tried Koko? They quite tasty 😋
I quite like the Oatly Barista for cereal. Worth a shot if you haven't tried that among the other Oatleys you have tried.

Have you tried rice milk? This one has added calcium: www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/252098146

And - obviously we all like different things - but the Alpro dairy free yoghurts are quite nice
