How long before I can see improvement with neocate

Hi guys

My daughter has confirmed CMPA and has been on nutramigen LGG since she was 3 weeks old. We saw immediate improvement in her mood and she was much more content. The bad skin took around 5 weeks to improve. It was dry, flaky and she had spots all over her face. Whilst it improved it never really went away. The dryness wasn’t as bad and spots on her face were tiny and skin coloured more than red. Recently I started to suspect that her allergy is more severe than we thought because her eczema is getting steadily worse. It covers 70% of her arms and torso and around 50% of her legs.

So we are trying Neocate lcp and it’s only been 1 day and I’m just wondering when I might start to see if it’s working or not? What has anyone else experienced on it?

I should add she’s now 22 weeks old but I’ve had my suspicions we need something more hydrolysed since she was about 16 weeks

Hi my LO is on neocate, skin is amazing now and she's less grumpy and stools are back to normal. Have the docs given you a steroid cream to get the eczema under control?
My LO is 14 mths now and we started the milk triangle and can't get past stage one. 1/4 biscuits has her poorly for 3 days 😢 I'm thinking she may not outgrown this allergy.

Hi
It took my son 4/5 weeks to see the full effects of Neocate. The allergy consultant said this is how long it can take for the milk to fully leave his system. His symptoms were mainly gastric however so not sure if that makes a difference x

As @Lanalou said about 4/5 weeks, but gradual improvements over time. Marked improvement I would say by the end of week 1. He loves the stuff now 🤢🤢
