Eggs & Vomiting...is it an allergy or something else?

I haven't posted for ages & not sure if this is in the right section. My dd is 14 months & about a month ago she had scrambled eggs for the 1st time. I was in hospital at the time so don't know exactly what happened but dh says his mum gave her scrambled eggs for tea & when he was reading her her bedtime story she threw up everywhere. Was fine afterwards & went straight to sleep no problems. Tonight I gave her scrambles eggs to see if it was a one off & same thing happened. Reading her her bedtime story & threw up everywhere. Then afterwards she was fine, had a cuddle & went to sleep. Is it she has an allergy to eggs or is it just an intollerence? is that how you spell it!

Anyone experienced the same thing?

It is quite common for very young children to be intolerant of eggs that haven't been cooked for very long.Most will outgrow this by age 3-5.
Both my children have had this to varying extents.

Has she eaten things with eggs cooked in them with no problem like cake?

She will try anything!! She had birthday cake which was cooked with eggs & she was fine.

Then it sounds like you just need to avoid undercooked eggs.If she can tolerate cake then she's not allergic to eggs.

My ds was allergic to undercooked and raw eggs,but he's outgrown it now(had done by 3yrs).He still doesn't tolerate cooked eggs(vomits) but isn't dangerously allergic like he is to nuts.

Thanks for that was worried we were going to have to start omitting eggs from her diet. Can sleep happier now but will turn the monitor up a bit incase we have more vomitting
