Hay fever and feeling wheezy

Only started with hay fever after having my last child 7 years ago but it seems to be getting worse with every year. This year I’m feeling quite wheezy and I’ve got a cough. I’m just taking an off the shelf anti histamine. Does anyone else suffer this way and if so what treatment do they take?

I have a prescription antihistamine and also take ventolin in the summer when it gets really bad for me. Might be worth a telephone appointment with your doctor to see if they can recommend something if it's getting that bad. The other thing to try is a nasal spray. There are OTC ones and your doctor might prescribe a steroid one.

Mine has been bad this year and bad earlier so you have my sympathy

Agree with talking to the GP, especially as you are wheezy.
