Rash only affecting one hand

I'm left handed. This may or may not be important.

I work in a strange job, where I am constantly handwashing, using alcohol hand gel and wearing nitrile (purple, non-latex) gloves.

Whatever affects my left hand also affects my right.

For the last few weeks, I have a strange mottled rash affecting a small portion of my right hand.

The base of my right index and middle finger has been mottled and a little tender for about two weeks.

For the last couple of days, away from work, the rash has spread, has become 'sting-y', itchy and has spread.

Any idea what this is?

Dr. Google reckons it's a maculopapular rash (OK, I agree with this), but it's so localised, it doesn't match any of the pictures, it's not generalised and what allergy only affects a portion of one hand??

Does anyone have any ideas?

Due to chronic perennial allergic rhinitis, I take cetirazine and fluticazone all year round.

I have no idea how, if it is an allergy, it's only affecting my non-dominant hand.

Hi, did you get to the bottom of this and find out what it is? I have the same thing I think.

@Timatha, yes.

These fuckers

They were used everywhere - door handles, kitchen and table surfaces and we were encouraged to wipe down our phones with them as well, hence the worst rash being on my right hand.

I hold my phone in my right hand and use my left to touch the screen
