I've just received the results of my FBC and the eosinophil count is 0.5. The normal range is 0.1-0.4.
I spoke to the doctor receptionist who said the results are ok, but it seems weird that patient access has flagged this up as abnormal.
In addition, the neutrophil count has gone down to 3.0 (has steadily gone down over the past couple of years according to my history).
I'm asthmatic but have it under control with medication. Should I be following up this abnormal result or just accept that it's fine?
