Hi,
Apologies for random message but I wanted to post on here to see if anyone has had a similar experience before I seek advise from the GP.
My 2 year old Daughter is healthy, no concerns other than mild CMPA when a baby which she has now outgrown. 2 weeks ago we ate homemade meatballs (made with passata & tin tomatoes) which she has not had before. 3 hours after eating she experienced excessive projectile vomiting for around 2 hours after. We thought maybe tomatoes caused her the upset as she hasnt had it so heavy in a meal before but didnt think much of it. Last night she ate a cheese & tomato pizza (again, first time she’s had it) and again - 3.5/4 hours later she began projectile vomiting unexpectedly.
She has small amount, around a tablespoon of tomato sauce a couple of times a week, sometimes with hives around her mouth sometimes without - depending on the brand. Ive always put this down to how much acid is in the sauce.
Not sure if I am being dramatic thinking this could possibly be a tomato intolerance? Has anyone else experienced this before?
Thanks for any help offered!!
