Can you get a blood infection from something so small?

Draw a line around the red part with a sharpie, and monitor any expansion.

I would see a GP if it’s been a week and then doubling in size.

I had an infected blister that looked similar to your wound. I saw a pharmacist and he said it looked like an “open wound” and infected and that antibiotic cream wouldn’t be enough. I got an appointment for the next day and was given a course of antibiotics. The pharmacist and doctor said that the redness around the sound was cellulitis, yours looks similar. I would try to get a doctors appointment ASAP or go to a walk in clinic or minor injuries department if you have one near to where you live.
