How do I challenge soya?

I've been dairy and soya free for 2 months following advice from my GP after my DS reacted with hives to yogurt on starting weaning. We saw a paediatrician who advised that I introduce dairy and soya back into my diet to challenge, and then if he tolerates that to start the milk ladder with him directly. He's now 8 months.

I was just wondering how is the best way to challenge soya, as thought it would be best to try them separately? Do I eat a soya yogurt a day for a few days and watch for a reaction? Or as he's weaned would you try with him directly so that it's out of both of our systems sooner? If trying with him, what would you start with?
