Allergy testing for children

I suspect my two daughters have animal allergies. Both are asthmatic, one very mildly, one moderately. I'm asthmatic, have severe hay fever and occasional eczema. I was allergy tested privately around age 12 with a skin prick test and was allergic to everything they tested for.
At their dad's there are cats, dogs, rabbits and hamsters. They always come back with runny, stuffy noses.
They have steroid nasal sprays but aren't very good at taking them when there. The eldest has a preventer and reliever but rarely needs the reliever. The youngest rarely has any asthma symptoms.
I've drummed it into them that they need to take their prescribed medication but their dad doesn't remind them as he doesn't believe they have any need to do so despite being told by medical professionals.
Is it possible to get allergy testing on the nhs or would I have to go privately for a skin prick test (if that's how they still do it these days)?
I want to be able to get confirmation of allergies if they have them along with proof to show their dad so he'll ensure they take their medication.
They are 10 and 12.
Thanks Smile

I went to the GP and they referred DD to the allergy clinic at the hospital. She did have the skin prick test.
Hers is food related so unsure if it’s the same for other allergies.
