Ezcema and formula milk

Ds is 7 months and we have been battling with severe ezcema for 5 months now. He has always had one bottle of formula milk and was breast fed until 6 months. Weaning now and there was no great difference until we tried Yoghurt and he got even more itchy. I have asked my doctors about allergy testing but they're not keen. My pediatrician doesn't think it is sensitble to exclude anything from my sons diet even if it is a known allergy. I disagree and would do anything to make him more comfortable. This week we tried soya formula and his skin looked great after 3 days but he got terribly constipated so he's back on the old formula again. I'm tired of constant and unfruitful trips to the HV and docs. Any suggestions please?

it could be worth trying goats milk products over cows milk as i have heard this is a real benefit for some eczema sufferers.

Thank you so much! I didn't know there was a goats milk formula. I'm living in Germany right now and don't speak the language so trying to find unfamiliar baby products is extra difficult but I shall hunt it out now I know it exists. I wonder if I can get it on prescription like the soay milk? Thanks for all your help.
