Reflux in my 3 yr old

Hi everyone, My little boy is 3 and today he is suffering from another bout of vomiting and diarhea. This he gets pretty often. We had put the vomiting down to a small swallow which would be hereditary in my family. Over the last year we have visited our GP about 8 times with each visit he will check ear throat, lungs, stomach glands etc and nothing shows up so it has always been put down to viral infection. A urine teat has been taken also, nothing shows up. He has only ever had 2 antibiotics and these were teeth related. At this stage I am very concerned however and would love some feedback on same. Yesterday I spoke to my pharmacist who suggested it may be Reflux and suggested trying Gaviscon sachets for a week. The vomiting is not all the time but normally during or after meal times, sometimes during the night. After vomiting he is fine. My friends child had a different kind of reflux when she was a few months old but says she is familiar with this type he may have - its called the "happy puker". Can anybody throw a bit of light on the subject for me? Would love to find a solution. He is a generally healthy little boy, he is tall for his age, and his weight is in proportion to his height, most people think he's four. He is however fussy eater and has a very limited diet. Help!"!!!!!!

Hi, brody. I've just replied to this, but for some reason it's disappeared.
