Can I take my dcs camping with hayfever?

I don't suffer at all byt poor dds (aged 2 and 6) have itchy eyes and noses - is camping completely out of the question?

You could try a heathland site. Do they respond well to antihistamines?

not brilliantly..I've been surprised at how ineffective piriton's been..also tried bendryl and clarytin..is there anything else??

I don't know I'm afraid as we don't suffer from it. Why don't you try an overnight or weekend stay first and see how they are.

As speccy says i always found my hayfever was much better when we went camping as a child. We always camped near the coast.

Thanks for this..but Speccy - how on earth do you get eye drops in dc aged 6. My dd is same age and it was a real struggle so we gave up!
