Hi, My dd (4 yrs) has been night coughing for a long time and finally we saw the gp last week who said it could be Asthma. He prescribed Ventolin Syrup and said to try it before bed and in the morning for a week to see if it helps. She hasn't coughed at all since taking it so I guess it must be Asthma then. So, now I was thinking about changing her bedding. She currently has down pillow and duvet. Can anyone recommend good anti-allergy bedding or offer any advice? Thank you

My aunt bought us a toddler sleeping bag from gingerlily which is made of silk and cotton and is meant to be excellent for children with allergies. It is 0 tog and we are using it on hot nights. We are lucky that DD doesn't have any known allergies but you might find these useful. Only problem is that they are not cheap!!

You can cover the duvet, mattress and pillow with dust mite proof covers rather than buy a whole set of new bedding.

We got ours from here:

You can buy the silk duvet from Jasmine Silk. The cot bed duvet is made by 100% mulberry silk and it is allergy free. It is perfect made for children. You can buy them from www.jasminesilk.com
