sounds like you should take your arm to the doctor this morning.

slowreader · 12/06/2007 11:48

i don't want to worry you but that sounds v like something i hadin both arms post cutting conifer hedge in strong sunlight. Triggered huge reaction, swelling, fever etc. Anti hist could not touch it- ended up on antibiotics + steroids after 3 useless GP visits.
Please go to your doc!

Hi, no idea what's wrong with you, but hopefully you feel better soon and you manage to find out what it is...I get hives, it sounds so gross, but it's only an allergic reaction to something and the worse thing is the itching...but that goes away after a few days, and so do the lumps and bumps.

Best of luck

Bloody phoned back at 2am then said phone on call GP so it was 3am before I spoke to GP who said canyou come in 'No , am single parent , 2kids in bed, can't even open eyes enough to drive' GP-'Ok see your own GP in the am'

This am phoned GP but apparantly not an emergency because I could go to work (eyes better )

Anyway have appointment tomorrow but itching rash/hives is now on my bellybutton too

GP is adapment that arm is a bite and the rest is a reaction to it (possbibly Lyme disease but can'tthink of any time I would have had a tick or been bittten)
Have masses of creams and some very strong anti biotics and have to avoid sunlight/use strong sun block.
