Been bitten by something couple if days ago. On little finger. Was extremely itchy and red. Have taken piriton type medication and used hydrcortisone cream.
But it is puffy at knuckle, slightly red, hurts to bend it feels like its badly bruised kind of pain, still slightly itchy, hot to touch. The area of swelling has not increased but nor has it lessened.
I dont really want to go to walk in dr, hoping i can hang on to monday before calling the GP.

Go to the pharmacist on Monday (or this evening if you have a weekend chemist near you) they’ll be able to give you something to bring down the inflammation.

Do you think it’s infected? If there starts to be red steaks travelling away from the finger get seen ASAP. But if not keep it clean and dry, air it, ibuprofren if it’s really sore and take an antihistamine daily.
