DS' eczema has really flared up

Think it's the hot weather - his skin has looked red raw the past couple of days. The moisturising regime (Cetraben all day, Oilatum in the bath, Epaderm at night) seems to be making little difference. Taking him back to the GP tomorrow - I fear it might be time to try steroids.

I know there's no easy answers, just wanted to vent and hopefully hear some encouraging stories from anyone...?

I have eczema on my hands, it always flares up this time of year. If I go out in the sun it gets so dry.
I use E45 every day. My niece (2.5) also suffers alot on her legs, she was given some steriod cream as it got so bad, it cleared up in a few days.
