Dealing with IBS with a newborn...

Hi, I suffer from IBS and have quite bad flare ups....currently going through one at the moment. It went away during my pregnancy but has viciously returned now my DS is 2 months old.

Has anyone got any experience of dealing with this?

Obviously I can't be sat on the toilet all day when I need to tend to his needs and annoyingly I always have a desperate need to go right at his feed time!
I guess I'm not really looking for answers just more to see if I'm not alone in this situation.

I had a bouncy chair stationed outside the loo, that I could strap him in and then bounce him while going. Not dignified, but the only way I coped during the day! At the weekend / evenings, my husband would have him.
