Blood test for coeliac

I've been referred to have this test. GP sent me away with the letter, but no advice. I know that I have to be eating gluten for several weeks before the test, but how much? And does it have to be at every meal every day, or can it be all at one meal per day, say?

When DS was tested I'm sure they said the equivalent of 1-2 slices of bread per day. It won't matter if you have it all together or in bits throughout the day. I also can't see it being a problem if you missed a day, but don't do it within a week of the tests. Also, don't stop eating gluten after the blood test. It's likely you will need an endoscopy to confirm diagnosis and you still need to be consuming gluten for this to be effective.

Thanks. I can cope with that, but OTOH if I have any I crave more! Ah well, needs must.

I read that it should be the equivalent of 4 slices of bread per day, and gluten should be in at least two meals per day
