5 year old with hayfever

I wondered if anyone had any hayfever advice?
My 5 year old is suffering badly with it. It’s mainly a blocked up nose but he’s suffering with a cough. He coughs a bit during the day but it’s almost constant at night.
He’s currently taking 5ml of loratadine in the mornings. I’m wondering if anyone can make a suggestion? I didn’t want to try cetirizine as I know it’s drowsy? I’m wondering if last year he had 2.5ml in the morning and 2.5ml in the evening? I’m sure I split the dose.

Cetirizine is non sedating also. Piriton is the sedating one

You get kids benadryl for age 2+ which contains cetirizine
