Have just done a search on mumsnet for gingham school dresses and come up with this. Fantastic news that Cotton Comfort are stocking them again. I've been checking with them regularly all this school year and they weren't at all sure. DD1 is wearing dresses so short that I don't think she will make it to the end of the school term.
