Just tring to think in advance really as she is not quite yet in a proper sized bed but will be soon in the near future. I want to find some in 100 percent cotton due to her eczema and dustmite allergy. She is very girly and would love something fancy or atleast pink when we finally sort out her built in bed! Anyone managed to find any along those lines recently. Just wanting a few ideas.

Laura Ashley or the white company.

BonyM · 09/05/2007 16:31

Just got a gorgeous set from Laura Ashley for dd2.

Also a much cheaper 100% cotton one from TK Maxx (and just as gorgeous actually!)

MrsCarrot · 09/05/2007 20:42

John Lewis are good

rebeccalm · 09/05/2007 20:48

White Company have beautiful designs. My DS has two and they wash and iron beautifully. Have my eye on a pink and green floral number but as DD is only 6 months ...

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 09/05/2007 20:53

rebeccalm - How odd! I have just (delivered today) bought the pink & green floral number for DD2, who is 2.5yo and moving into her big bed at the weekend. Didn't get the bunting though

DS1 has the pirate set from a year or two ago and it's still crisp and lovely. Will probably buy him the boats version too. And possibly the ballet dancers for DD1.

It's good stuff and you get 10% discount & free P&P if you buy through Mumsnet.

rebeccalm · 09/05/2007 21:33

Is it gorgeous?? DS has Cowboys and circus from last year. Don't know whether to buy the floral one and DD won't have a bed for ages and I'm bound to love another one by then. How is it possible to love a mail order company so much???

fondant4000 · 09/05/2007 21:34

ikea is always 100% cotton and cheap

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 09/05/2007 22:55

rebeccalm - it is gorgeous. DD2s room has exposed beams but instead of the usual white walls, it has been painted eau-de-nil/pale green. It looks better than it sounds. And this bedlinen ties in brilliantly.

Bed arrives on Friday morning. We're all very excited!!!
