Egg allergy

Hi I've a child I'll be looking after who is allergic to egg. At the moment it's a rash situation that mum will send piriton, not anything major requiring an epipen but I'd like to obviously avoid!

I've looked on here but they seem like old threads I can't refresh?
Can anyone help with a few suggestions on food for a 1 year old
Thanks

Loads of stuff is egg free

Jacket potato with cheese and beans

Chicken, rice and veg

Rice noodles with fish & veg

Sausage mash and peas

Where do you usually shop @confusion39 and what sorts of foods do you usually offer?

My main suggestion would be to check every label, always. Even if something has always been egg free I’d still check as manufacturers have a habit of changing the recipe and not letting people know.

My dd is allergic to eggs.
I second the advice to check everything as we were caught out a few times when she was younger.
In general I find that cheaper versions of things are less likely to contain egg, such as ice cream and biscuits but always double check.
I used No-egg egg replacer for baking or googled egg free cake recipes so that she could have a birthday cake.
She is 12 now and although she is allergic to raw and under cooked egg she can tolerate cakes etc baked with an egg.
Watch out for egg in things you might not expect - we've found it in instant gravy and jars of pesto.
