RAST blood test, do you have to stop anti -histamine for this?

Son is having the RAST blood test and was told by ear nose and throat dr no anti histamine 3 days prior.
After reading online this seems incorrect and it's only the skin allergy test you stop anti histamine?

Was anyone else told the same?
