Hi, about 6 weeks ago my daughter was told she had the dreaded chicken pox, she wasn't ill and the spots were only on her torso and backs of legs, with maybe a few on her bum and lady bits. Her GP at the time, just pulled up her vest and proudly announced what the spots were, and so gave me a bottle of piriton and some calomine lotion. So we went home and I put some lotion on her and nothing not an itch for the whole week. She has woken up this morning and she is covered again in these little spots, exactly the same as before, surely she cannot get them again, she is only 4. Should I take her back to see my GP, or investigate what she might have eaten, could she be allergic to something.???? She is not sick, not unwell at all, she fine infact which makes me wonder if she was correctly diagnosed in the 1st place all those weeks ago.

It does sound unlikely that she had Chickenpox in the first place, especially as the spots did not itch at all, and children are usually-although not always-quite miserable with it as well.
It would probably be best to take her back to the GP.I dont think it is possible to get Chickenpox twice.
