My DS (2 yrs) has been diagnosed with a severe bee sting allergy. The allergy nurse said his blood levels indicate a quick, severe reaction if he was stung. He’s been prescribed epipens for home and his nursery etc.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any books that education children with epipens and allergies and about not touching bees!

How do you raise your child to know the importance of carrying it round? I don’t want him to fear the world!

Have a look on Facebook for the allergy UK and anaphylaxis campaign support groups, I'm sure I've seen someone post a bee sting book. My just turned 3 year old has been diagnosed with a nut allergy and has to always carry an EpiPen. I think it's a bit of a journey working it all out!

Thanks. That’s a useful start.

It’s quite scary right now.
