Allergy after having a baby?

I had my baby boy in January, and around April I started with itching throat/ears, sneezing, runny nose etc. I assumed hayfever (although I've never had it before in my life) it's September now and I'm still suffering. I can't function for sneezing and itching on a morning until I take a tablet. We have a shih tzu but they're hypoallergenic so can't be him although we do have a cat.
Did anyone else develop allergies after having a baby? I've never been allergic to anything in my life. We have had our cat 4 years! Would it be a waste of time going to the GP? Thanks.

Sorry to hear you're suffering. How long have you had the dog?

BananaFrenchToast · 11/09/2017 17:34

I would guess it's the cat. Allergies can develop at any time.

I've had the dog 2 years and the cat 4 years. When I stay away from home I don't get the problems so it's got to be something in our house. Should I ride it out or say goodbye kitty cat? Hmm
