Hi. Everyone

Dd is currently 5 weeks old and is breastfed except on bottle of aptamil in the evening which she has had since birth (her first 2 feeds were aptamil)

She's very colicky and screams arching her back bright red in the face inconsolable every evening usually 9pm- midnight

Any tips on soothing it? She likes the bath but we can't leave her there all night I give her gripe water but she still screams, she gets winded every feed etc not sure how to help or if there's anything I can give her?

Wondering if she maybe has an intolerance to something as she does this but trumps an awful lot through the day as well as during the crying fits

Thanks!!

How is she now @Bmarie?

@EveryoneTalkAboutPopMusic she's doing much better thank you! I spoke with the pharmacist and she recommended colief drops which remove the lactose from milk (bit of a pain when breastfeeding as you have to express some and mix with the drops before you actually feed) but it's definitely helping! Apparently a lot of babies under 3 months struggle to digest lactose and it's quite common she should be able to come off them after that x
