Hi, DS is allergic to beans, pulses etc and used to be sick and get a rash all over his face if he had any. He hasn't had any for ages because of this. We tried baked beans a year ago and it caused the usual nettle type rash on his face. We tried them again the other day and there was no rash so we got very excited - but, then late afternoon he did a very diarroheary poo.

If the two are connected, I am just interested that the result of his eating the stuff has changed. Has this happened to anyone else and does it mean anything? Thank you.

Are you sure it's not the tomato in the sauce? I believe that tomato is a common cause of allergy and whilst DS2 can now tolerate several foods he was previously allergic to, tomato is not one of them.
