i have started BLW with dd, 7 months but am confused about the whole allergy thing. at the moment, she is just having fruit and veg but i would like her to start having things that we have. however, i suffer from hayfever, mild asthma and am allergic to dust, feathers and cats; dh has mild asthma and feathers allergy too. does this mean that i shouldnt be giving dd dairy, wheat etc in case she develops allergies, or should i just be keeping her away from things we are allergic to ?(no food items)

i exclusively bf till about 4 1/2 months and stil bf mornign and evening. she has C+G organic formula the rest of the time - interetingly enough, about the time she started on this, she developped very dry skin patches and a patch she keeps scratching on her face - could this be a mild allergy to milk?sorry to waffle

If you go to this site there is a link on the right which has some information.

I hope that helps (will search around for more )

I guess it sounds like it could be an allergy, or intollerance. I don't have any experience of that though. Maybe you could also post on the allergy threads?
