Itchy palms?

After reading the thread about people's eczema flaring right now, I can say that ds2 is still very dry skinned and has some flare up patches as well.

However, the last week or so, I have noticed him scrathcing his palms, especially when he wakes up in the morning or from a nap. I have looked at his hands and can't see anything at all. COuld this be eczema or possibly an allergy related thing?

I did notice that ds had several dirty nappies yesterday (wheat allergic) and then a HUGE, what I can only class as a cack-tastrophy, earlier today which resulted in him having to be showered down (sorry to those eating lunch!) I can't say that I have ever noticed him scratching his palms with a reaction before. What do you think?

Maybe it means he is coming into money and will then lose it again as it was both palms

my palms are itchy in the morning atm and it's driving me mad

I put some eumovate on them before I went to bed last night in an attempt to stop it happening!

is he getting very sweaty at night? I often think sweat + v dry skin can cause itchiness

Not that I have noticed Fox. I would panic if he started sweating at night due to his heart condition . My lesft palm was itching about a month ago and a few days later I had a bunch of cheques come through from tax credits

lol

mine got more itchy when I made a cream cake (ahem) and scoffed a huge slice (often have allergy type reactions to too much cream) so I imagine it's something to do with that

perhaps you could put lots of diprobase (whatever you use) on them and see if that helps? I do sympathise with him - it hurts a bit when your palms itch because there's not much fat but lots of bone iyswim

I think it depends on which website you looks at, as I read it the other way around! Sprry to se so many of you with itchy palms though, I know it drives DS crazy too
