Have just been to see her paeditric registrar who has agreed to having her tested for coeliac disease, it is such a relief not to have been "fobbed" of!!

Well done. Presumably it is a blood test at this stage?

There is a good book about coeliac disease, gluten intolerance, testing etc - Dangerous Grains .

Great news

HA, they've kind of changed their minds, consultant phoned me yesterday and wants her to remain on a strict wheat/gluten free diet for a good few more months , then reintroduce it and then test her then.

Good or bad?

hennipenni · 22/03/2007 14:01

Good in a way as I feel that I'm not being fobbed off as a neurotic mother this time! Although she's non too happy because she wanted bread!!
