Allergies to children's vitamins

My 5yo has egg & cmp allergies (now grown out of cmp and we are challenging the egg following blood tests).

We have had trouble in the past with abidec vitamins which seemed to give him upset tum and skin breakout despite no allergens on the ingredients. I've now started him on wellkid vitamins but he has come out in quite a severe skin breakout.

I've stopped the (small amounts of) egg challenges we have been doing, and also the vitamins as they are the only other new thing we have introduced lately. I know it's likely the egg challenging causing the reaction but I am suspicious the vits could be a factor considering past problem with abidec.

I will wait for skin to calm down before reintroducing the wellkid to see what happens. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there are any recommendations for alternative vitamins. Thanks x

abidec contain peanut oil (arachis oil).

Don't know about the other vitamins.

yes, as trixymalixy has stated some do have peanut oil in. Bought some vitamins once for ds when he was little and remember reading they contained peanut oil in the ingredients. Was put of using them as dd had a life threatening allergy to peanuts and was worried what would happen if ds kissed her or something.

I also think that abidec may also contain fish oil too

We use the Haliborange vitamin C and D - I contacted them last year and they said they were safe for DD who has allergies to milk eggs and nuts

I only asked about the soft ones
