5 yr old, multiple allergies & keeps bringing up sick in her mouth, is this allergy induced?

Well, on a regular basis now my dd keeps saying she has had sick come up in her mouth when she burps. I know its normal for us all on an occassion but this is happening, well, to be honest at the moment nearly everyday. I wondered if anyone else notices this with their allergic children and if its allergy induced/linked to what she has just eaten?

go and ask your doctor about reflux. Dairy and peppermint is said to make it worse but I wouldn't stop dairy without medical adice. You could try having goats milk instead of cows as its more readily digested and still has plenty of calcium. Its not allergy related as such, more likely to be a weak valve at the top of her stomach.

def sounds like reflux to me. And that can be made worse by certain foods. you need to talk to your dietitian about it - and your gp or allergy clinic about something to control it - eg ranetidine or gaviscon.
