I am about to upgrade my 13 year old's bed from narrow single to single so I'd like to make a good choice.

We are, I'm afraid, of the "half-hearted" school of allergy management so things I can buy then forget about would be good Blush

We are not all bad - we did get rid of the carpets

Depending on what you suspect, I would go for a wooden not metal bed frame, with minimal varnish /glues /treatments, ideally an old one so no off gassing of newly allied chemicals and then a coconut fibre / wool / lateral latex mattress with unbleached organic cotton bedding.

Hmm, thanks, a few different potential problems identified there. I will call the dr for advice....

Thanks!
