Hiccupping when I eat bread

Whenever I eat bread or bakery products I get the hiccups. Does this happen to anyone else? I've been wondering if it could be a sign of gluten intolerance.

I'd be grateful for some advice as it's really quite annoying!

I do that and my dad does. Particularly with white bread. I just assumed it gets clogged somewhere.
Based on my egg intolerance, the signs of an intolerance are far worse than hiccups.

Thanks flop.

I certainly don't think I've got a full blown allergy, just wondered if my body was politely asking me to stop!

With my egg one I get stuck on the loo, have chills feel sick and have really bad abdominal cramps. I don't know if a gluten intolerance would be the same but I've always assumed that sort of scale
