Allergy Tests

My ds is nearly eight months and i think he may be reacting to dairy / eggs, if he needs to get the prick tests done will they do them now or do i have to wait until he is older?

I saw an allergy specialist privately who did them and my 7month old came up obviously allergic to egg, saw an NHS guy 2 months later who wouldn't test till 2 and a half. Personally I wanted the tests done and I found the NHS guy next to useless but it's probably different depending on who you see.

Unless he has a very serious reaction I doubt he will be refered for testing at that age. Dr may only tell you to avoid the offensive things and remind you not to give egg or raw cows milk to under 1s.
