Which Avene for excema?

I've heard that Avene is supposed to be good for babies with excema -do any of you use it ? If so which cream is it ? There seem to be alot of avene products out there !

looks expensive and no real reason why it should be better than the prescribed emollients. have you seen your child's GP?

Aveeno is a prescribed emollient, at least by my GP anyway. It is an expensive cream, and the health visitors here can't prescribe it, only doctors. Anyway, it has worked wonders on my baby daughter's skin - she has a repeat prescription for the moisturising cream with oat extract. It says on the bottle it is suitable for babies and the eczema-prone.
