A stressful time for all of us - hope you all have a good day and the relatives don't give your children anything dangerous.

Oh... but we got a box of chocolate nuts as gift! it lived happyly under our Christmas tree for 2 weeks until we unwrapped it on Christmas eve! But... no incidents reported [so far!]

I was offered a choice of chocolate boxes at somewhere I do a voluntary job for a few hours. I asked if any were nut free. All had "may contain" warnings and some included traces of peanuts. The person offering them to me then expressed surprise that I don't eat nuts myself. We've talked several times about my family and the problem of cross contamination. They know about my recent use of the epipen for food supposedly "safe".

Still got the chocs but they were passed on to the music teacher
