Reaction to Cauldron Tofu (but not other soya products?)

I am a little confused as DD seems to have a recent problem with the Cauldron Tofu blocks. She has other soya products (milk, cheese, Fishless fishfingers) and seems ok. However it seems that every time i give her tofu she wakes up from her after lunch nap crying and with smelly breath ( a sign her silent reflux is playing up).

Any ideas why this should be the case? The only thing i can think of is the added calcium upsetting her (which is worrying as we have to get a calcium supp from the dietician in january).

thanks
alice

jasperc, just had a look at the Cauldron website.

Is it the calcium sulphate which you think might be a problem? I also looked up calcium sulphate and apparently it's a salt (??)

Sorry, not really helping am I? Hope someone will be along soon with proper advice. Poor dd

thanks Mercy,

It was the only thing i can think of - but it doesnt really make any sense! Its just that it seems to be happening too often to be a coincidence - but maybe it is - i will try once more in a few days. Starting to run out of protein sources as she is being SO very fussy at the moment!

Try Clearspot tofu - I think they tend to be more natural and I'm pretty sure they are organic, which should help.
