With Christmas coming along, usually the season of stuffing my face with anything in reach, I am feeling the need for a bit of friendly chat with others who are also having to pass on the office biscuits, cake, sweets, and anything else vaguely enjoyable.

I have come to accept that this flare up of IBS isn't magically going away anytime soon and I am going to be on a strict low FODMAP diet for some time. I've decided I need to just get used to it and try and find ways of making delicious things that aren't going to leave me in agony.

Today I experimented with peanut butter cookie type things. Not absolutely convinced they were a success but it's nice to be trying. Grin
