bread or milk or both?

My dd4 has been on movicol for while to help with constipation and try and stop her having accidents. We have noticed that she seems more
constipated with bread and does a number 2 a day with cereal and milk. She intermittently complains her tummy hurts. Could she have a wheat or gluten issue or both? I am confused. Can she be tested at 4 by a gp?

Remove those from her diet and do a test. Try a week or two removing everything with wheat in - breads, cereals, check everything. There are wheat free alternatives use these. Use oat milk as an alternative or soya/rice etc. Then reintroduce one or the other not both. Keep a food diary and see what days are corresponding with the tummy pains.

All this will help you if you do need to go to GPS for tests as you have a good food history and yes they do test at pretty much any age.
