does anyone know where I can get a birthday cake with no sesame and nuts in and no warnings of them? I am useless at making cakes and I am sure that mine would be a disaster! Help me please

Think someone said M&S might. Not much help really....

I've given up looking on the High Street. Possibly M&S, since they seem to be taking allergy issues seriously - although their baked products mostly do have the warning on them.

If you're desperate, you could try www.itsnutfree.com The prices are eyewatering, though.

Do you know anyone who would bake one for you? Or have a look here: www.country-markets.co.uk and see if there's a Country Market near you. (They used to be called WI markets - lots of home baked products for sale, they label things that contain nuts and if you are at all uncertain, you can probably talk to the person who baked the cake. There's one in my town every Friday morning and it's a great source of home made baking without the effort!)
