allergic to strawberries and tomatoes

I gave my son 8mths old, strawberries and tomatoes and he's eczma has come up really bad and has really bad diarrhea everything e passes wind he poos in his nappy I'm going through so many nappies it's making him so sore every thou I'm changing him as soon as he's done it. Please helP can he have pyriton or anything?

The piriton will help to stop him feeling itchy and scratching with his eczema, but won't treat the diarrhoea. There is not really anything you can give him other than to make sure he is taking in enough fluids so he doesn't get dehydrated, and using nappy rash cream.

Take him to the gp as piriton isn't licenced for under 1's unless prescribed by a doctor

very acidic foods that irritate sensitive skin and give loose bowels. Its a common problem with young children.

I would avoid and re introduce when older, over 1 yrs. i wouldnt call it allergy unless other symptoms appear .

Agree with other post mention to GP, and have it on record you are avoiding for now.
