not necessarily. As allergic children are likely to be allergic to more than one thing don't try them with nuts, though, until they have been properly tested.

No, although many peanut allergic children are also sensitive to sesame, it doesn't mean that your son has a nut allergy.

However, if you have allergies in the family, delay the introduction of nuts to your son diet until he is at least 3 yrs old.

my dd has both nut and sesame allergy but the allergist told me that sesame allergy is not that common and it is even less common to have both allergies BUT my dd is proof that you can have both together. You should get him tested for both. IT is a good idea to avoid nut until your son is about 3 as already said.

My DS has nut allergy...but not allergic to sesame or anything else....
