Son was Dx CMPI age 16 days. Always been dairy free and will be 4 in May.
Dietician told us to do milk trial using malted milk biscuit.
Started trail on Monday. Day 3 now and stool hard
rabbit dropping type and his belly is hard. Not sure if I should carry on or stop :0(

Has anything else in his diet changed? If not, my inclination would be to stop with the dairy, but maybe you could call the dietitian for advice?

I am sorry it doesn't seem to have gone too well - my son was diagnosed quite young and hasn't progressed much in terms of acquiring tolerance either. I feel pretty down after each failed milk challenge. How are you feeling?

Last night his belly got really hard then his lips blistered. He had a poo this morning that contained blood. I rang hospital who said dietician would ring me but they haven't so ice stopped the trial.
I feel panicked. Kept a good diary so know exactly what he's eaten since Friday and kept poo chart too and have taken pics of the reactions.

Oh bless, Bonkerz, that sounds awful, and seems like a pretty clear reaction. I think you were absolutely right to stop. How is your son doing now?

Might be worthwhile to contact the dietitian anyway and just let her know...?

He's had no dairy now since Wednesday and is constipated. I started movicol about an hour ago. I will continue to record his food diary and poops until he gets back to normal but I'm not doing a trial again for a while lol
