wind making 20 month old hyperactive - anyone else find this?

My lb has some kind of food intolerance in addition to being cmpi. He gets really bad wind frequently, and we can usually tell because he starts going nuts ie during the night he will throw himself around the bed and (thankfully!) jabbers away cheerfully, in between feeding off me. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this in their DC, and if anyone knows why?

We've got multiple allergies, mad... when i started trying to up his wheat to one slice of bread a day (from the occasional biscuit), in order to do a coeliac test, he went absolutely hyper and turned into devil child at times; never seen before tantrums, etc. All stopped the moment we stopped the wheat. He also slept through the night for the first time ever (at about 18 months). Not saying yours is wheat; just that sometimes the signs you can see aren't what you think will be allergy reactions.
