Hi there, I have just joined even though I live in Perth (Australia, not the UK!) I googles ear eczema and a thread for this page came up...but the last posts were 2013.
So. I have been told I have eczema in my ears - and its unbearable. I can't get them wet as water causes it to flare up. I stopped swimming (my fave type of exercise) as a result. I wash my hair less often than I should as I dread the discomfort which follows. I actually think its causing me to become a little depressed.
I have an appointment to see a dermatologist (I have already seen 2 ENT specialists) but can't see her until June!
Please - I would love to hear from anyone suffering with this or who has found a miracle cure! Its driving me bonkers!!

Scorpsista, My DS gets ear eczema really badly (to the point where his hair 'sets' in the scabs) ... the only thing that helps us is to stop eating the various foods that he is allergic to - some of them cause this as an issue... dairy in particular in our house. HTH in some way.
