HELP!!! Unusual allergy?!

I really need the advice of you mothers out there! My daughter, Alice-Poppy, has been having severe reactions to TOILET ROLL!!!!! TMI- her bottom just seems to get very rashy after every toilet trip, I don't know how long she can cope!! It can be extremely painful for her and there are often tears- any advice?!

Is the toilet roll, or has she got cystitis, or urine infection that is causing the rash? Maybe worth getting her checked out at e doctors.

Maybe in the short term, use nappy rash cream or anti-histamine cream.

Are you sure it's not thrush or other nappy type rashes? THat would be my 1st thought.

Otherwise:

I assume this is " fancy" loo roll ie coloured /scented/ aloe vera ed or otherwise " poshed up" .

Just by cheap white loo roll and she should be fine. Or go bck to the wip;es you used when she was in nappies . If it's really the loo roll things should recover fast with these

also check for paper allergy, i know a lady who has a severe allergy to papers, and takes antihistamine everyday. if she gets a cut from paper it makes it worse.

Hi, I am allergic to toilet paper, facial tissues, kitchen roll used on the eyes/nose and disposable sanitary products.
I get red, sore, swollen and with frequent/prolonged use, a rash too. The only toilet paper I can use is Charmin or Andrex, plain white ones, without scent.
I find I am much more sensitive to cheaper toilet papers and recycled toilet paper is the worst.
If I wipe my eyes with a tissue other than Tesco mansize or Kleenex, then I get red swollen weepy eyes within minutes!
I always carry my own tissues with me to use in public loos!
