Since when have milk & eggs been in pate?

I mean obviously a special with cream or whatever

But ordinary normal pate (which should be made of meat & well more meat) seems to be packed with eggs & milk

Has anyone found any at a supermarket which isn't?

Ardennes pate in Tesco used to be fine, but when I was looking for one at Christmas I ended up giving up as they all seemed to have.

Yup its hard to find quite a few things - with ds1 we have ended up not looking all that much for replacements to what we would usually eat, and just readjusted the basics that we cook with iyswim. We also found that in general, more expensive foods tend to have milk and eggs - eg M&S bread, whereas cheaper brands don't, but I do sometimes worry about how many chemicals he gets instead.
